The Gentlemans Launch AJAX has been completely restored by hand over four years according to original plans. The engine is the 6 cylinder Rolls Royce B60 engine with a capacity of 4.2 litres and 120 hp. As the rare original engine was stolen by the Russian occupation forces, an identical engine was supplied by the collection of the Royal British Military Arsenal. The boat was invited to the Monaco Classic Week in 2023 and took part in the "La Belle Classe" category of the contest.
