INXS HAT

INXS is a 47-foot Apache originally built in 1989 for John Gehret of Gehret Racing. Named after the Australian rock band INXS, the boat was later transformed by the Miss GEICO Racing team under Gary Stray’s leadership into a high-performance pleasure craft, equipped with twin Lycoming L13-703 engines delivering a combined 3700 horsepower and Arneson surface drives. Once a multi-time world and national champion race boat, it was purchased by an avid boater from Trinidad and, as of 2020, was being prepared for poker runs in the U.S. before returning to the islands.
